I don't know if this is an utopy or not. I am not good at backlinking and if I do I want only white-hat links, the thing is that is time consuming and I would prefer to spend that time in promoting content or doing any other related stuff.

I've create my website like 1 month and half ago. The organic traffic is zero and I would like to know if is going to be possible to Rank 1 in Google for my targeted keywords without any backlink created by me (obviously there will be natural backlinks at some point)

Thank you!

Promoting your site/pages/content to legit traffic is white hat link building.

    Hey Francisco,

First off I want to say that you have a great looking blog. Looks very promising, and keep up the hard work!

Now this is just my opinion from my personal experience, but for the most part you are going to need backlinks in order to rank for certain keywords. Especially if the keyword has a lot of competition.

The more competition there is for a keyword, then the more proactive you will have to be with your seo.

There are other ways to get traffic to your website without SEO. You can look into building your social sites. This can help give you some good backlinks while engaging with your audience, and driving traffic all at the same time.

I hope this helps you a little bit, and keep up the great work my friend!

Are you people kidding? do you even LQQK at the site?
      Have you tried reading it?!!!!!!!!!!!

      You people amaze me.

      The site is junk.

Sure you can rank without backlinks.

But you cannot rank for anything worthwhile without backlinks.

Now, you'd all better heed this advice:
Place a large bottle with a narrow neck (so you can't pick up the coins) in a visible location, and every night leave coins that you carry in your wallet. When the jar is full, you can bring them to the bank to get notes instead. After few months, this money can be enough to buy a birthday gift or the gym fee.
Of course one must generate coins in ones pocket.
Not easily done, at least in the real world where I live.

As jimwayde says above, one of the key factors is how competitive is the keywords you want to rank for.

Think about it, if you have a new website and you want to be on page one of Google, but the sites you want to move off that page have been around for 5 years, have great content, lots of people reading it and making updates, Why would Google replace that website and put you in that place?

Better to start off with keywords that are not to competitive, then get some traffic happening, then as you site starts to get more authority, you can go after better keywords.

Like all things in business, it takes time to build up your authority.

Just keep producing quality content and reaching out to other website owners that may be interested in linking to you to help their site visitors with the content you have. Build relationships.
