Hey guys,

I found a site that has a link of my web in its page. But when I copy that site page link and advanced search it on Google (using site:http://example.com/article-title). Google reponses with no result. Does that still count for my site? In my opinion, I think it wouldn't count, just ask for sure.

P/S: After an element check (right click -> check element), I find that link is a do-follow link. It's been 5 days from my discovery. But still no result on Google Search.

Look at the Google cache (text version), If the link is on the cache Google knows about it.

Try searching without "site:". Google usually returns the exact page if you only copy the link to the search box.

If you still can't see the page in the results see if the site owner has asked Google to "noindex" the page or the whole site. This can be in <head> section or in robots.txt.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?

Well. I think when one link is count or not (doesn't matter no-follow or do-follow) must first be indexed by the Search Engine and appeared in the results. In this case, I use advanced specific site search feature (site:..) and it does not show up. So we can make a conclusion that this link does not exist even in the Google Search. Therefore it is not count on our PageRank.

As we all know NO Index means No Result; but you have wait for this,as you have mentioned that link is Do-follow then, wait for some days for experiment..
