I am trying to understand tiered link building . I created this image about what I understand so far

Is this what tiered link building is ?

My second question is that can I get backlink from one Blog post to my tiered 1 blogs, that is Blog 1, Blog 2 and Blog 3. As these 3 blogs will Link my main website.

The problem with that link structure is If one of those middle links/pages/domains breaks then the upstream links will be useless for the money page.

The intentional nofollow links are a joke.

I wonder if anyone had any success with that kind of a PBN, made entirely out of free blogging platforms like blogger and wordpress.

If it really works, I too would like to try it

Why not they all can work provided you build back links to them too. It makes no difference whether you pay for hosting on a new site or you make PBNs on WordPress blogger, tumblr, Kinja, Diply whatever they all start with 0 authority. You still need to build back links to them.

First of all you must understand that blog comments have no valued link juice in them. Most of the blogs provide no-follow link and the handful few those who provide do-follow ones they passes the minimum link juice. So, this idea of yours won't work.

It is not a good practice, your links shouldn't just relay on one post/link/website because if it goes down, everything will be down. The better way is to spread your links on different blogs and websites.

I like the idea of linking to intermediate sites only when i use spammy methods or black hat techniques, in order to protect my money sites from penalty.

As other members already said, blog commenting has little value, so i wouldn't setup a complicated link schema just for blog comments links. I would do that in order to try "dirty" methods, but not for blog commenting.

Apart from this, if you spend enough time with your 2nd tyre blogs, you could end up with 3 money sites, that all will link to your main money site (which would be very much benefited, especially if all sites are on the same niche). But again, promoting 4 (or maybe more?) websites takes too much effort.
