Hi,

I am testing various tracking services, and I put 3 of them on 2 of my websites, along with analytics. I did this 2 days ago, and today I compared the basic results (sessions, time on site, bounce rate, visitors) for yesterday, and I'll continue to do this for an entire week, just so I can see how much the results differ from one service to another.

Anyway, after checking yesterday's stats - while the stats come close to each other for all 4 services used (by the way, the 4 services I am using are Google Analytics, Histats, Open Web Analytics, and Piwik) - so, after checking yesterday's numbers all stats came close to each other, except for the bounce rate for one of my site. Analytics said the bounce rate was 1.08% while the other 3 services show a bounce rate of around... 30%.

Well, the difference is too big to just let it go. Which is why I need a second opinion on what you guys think.

Actually.. what is the most accurate analytics service you have ever used, and how do you determine its accuracy? This question has been bugging me for quite some time, especially after google have started hiding organic search terms that visitors find our websites through (based on the privacy whatever...). So, this is one of the reasons I am looking for alternatives to GA, but I need to know which service to trust. And for now, after seeing the big difference in the bounce rate between GA and the other services, I don't trust any service anymore

So, please let me know what I asked above... if it's not too much trouble

Thanks!

2 days is not enough to get results that will give you the answer you are looking for. I would leave them on for another 30 days and then compare.

Plus, who said you need to have only one

I know that I can use more trackers, but site-loading speed is more important for the rankings than multiple tracking codes... I guess.
