So I understand how to add your business to bing places, but I am trying to understand why certain searches bring back the state page for the state im in. I'm in Minnesota, if I search bing for say home owners insurance WITHOUT including my state name, i get a website with a Minnesota state page: www.homeownerinsurance.org/minnesota Is there something extra these sites are doing to have the state pages rank? Again this isn't the local business directory results with address and phone etc, its a web page. The only thing I can find is info on adding your site to bing places. Is it just an authority aspect?
