Low Comp Niche Backlinking

I find it very difficult to build links for low competitive niches due to the lack of other websites in the niche, so it is hard to find opportunities to get sites to link back to you.

Sometimes I feel like it would be easier to rank in a more competitive niche due to way more opportunities to create better content, and thus get more links.

Anyone else seem to have this issue, or give me some insight on this topic?

    As long as there's niche traffic on the net I find it hard to believe there's not thousands of relevant domains.

    Example, even a rare disease keyword is related to the health niche which obviously has thousands of domains.

    You don't have to focus on only exact keyword backlink pages to keep everything relevant.

    A great way to find niche relevant websites would be to go to Google and search using this string


    search this - site: "your-keyword"
    That will help you locate sites worth contacting for a link.

      If it is an extremely low comp niche then you should BROADEN what you feel is a "relevant" site for getting a back link from.

      Just build good links anywhere you can get them, implement social signals, and also PBNs if you have to.

    Building links from exact niche might be difficult. But you can also build links from relevant niche as well, as long as they are relevant.

      Isn't that sort of borderline blackhat SEO?
      I'm all about the whitehat.

      Refer me to any good guides on creating a PBN? I always hear about them but never found a useful guide.
