Hello Experts,

This is really important, I need help.

I am working for a certain keyword since few days. But I have found another keyword which is similar but little bit different than present keyword and also less competitive. I would like to change my target keyword.

Moreover Because the keyword is almost similar, So I don't need to change My SEO Title/ Description/ And URL. Because the new KW is already have in this 3 element. Can I do this? Is it ethical logically?

Please looking for experts advice..

Regards

Create a new page for the new keyword and send links to the 1st page and the new page with the new keyword as anchor text... Don't undo what you've done.

Ok, I will start work on another existing page I have already, but not used any keyword yet. I am sorry to say it's not clear to me what do you mean by send link to the 1st page,

do you mean to send backlinks? Can you please explain a little more about what do you mean by 1st page?

      Grateful Munna.

I meant, send backlinks with the 1st keyword as anchor text to the 1st page and links with the 2nd keyword as anchor text... It is possible to rank a page for a keyword you didn't do onpage optimization for... Harder than if you did, but possible... With backlinks.

Actually, since Google shows 2 pages from the same site, you should have 2 pages for each keyword, so you can be #1 and #2 for that keyword.

How do you split linkjuice if you create 2 pages with almost the same keyword?

Your page already has its own google data now if it's been on the web for a while and subsequently indexed. I'd do what DABK suggested, make an entirely new article on subject keyword.

    Don't go around changing things

  • This is quite interesting, I have gone over some old posts on my travel blog and I've changed main keywords (no keyword research when I wrote them).

Still don't any traffic, I guess obscure temples and markets in Thailand are not that popular!

How about changing keywords on a recent post, up to one month old?

Creating different site pages but still related to your niche will be suitable for your new and related keyword phrases.

If you are doing SEO and want to rank many keywords then its for sure that you have to make other pages as well. But, remember that it should be linked with the main page of your website as it will help the other pages to get ranked quickly.

Focus on different keywords alternately and make huge quality backlinks for all of them. It helps to initiate the juice flow within the website only. It will increase the Page Rank of a website as well.

Yes, you can change your targeting keywords. If its not done correctly in the link building activities of the website.
