I'm not so sure if repeating the same word on one page is a good idea. With Google's Hummingbird algorithm in place, searches are judged by their intent and the search experience is targeted to becoming more 'humanized' than just taking your word at face value.

To cast your net wider, I'd think writing on a semantic search term basis and including logical answers in your content relating to the keyword as a question (as opposed to only repeating the keywords) is a wiser approach in the long run.

Its called keyword spamming within his website and the purpose is to manipulate the rankings but its only temporary because Google is aware on this method.

It is called keyword stuffing and its unethical way as per google guidelines. you keyword density should be 3-4% in your whole content. And may be soon when google will update its penguin algorithm you'll found its site has gone from first page.

Using too much keyword is not good, it is most likely to be considered as keyword stuffing.
