Hello.

How do you get youtube videos to rank well in serps?

I am trying to get this one to appear for its keywords.

    I think the video is one of the major problems. Didn't even watch it to the end, and I already hate you for wasting my time. There's no reason why Google would rank this in YouTube or Google search.

    I'd recommend thinking about your approach. Can you produce a video that contains something interesting? Gardening tips? Spokesperson telling us about the weather? Watching grass grow? Well, perhaps not the last one, but you get the point. Something that has the potential to become at least moderately successful in YouTube.

    If you only tell us that there's a gardening company somewhere, it's something that we figured out already. The yellow pages work perfectly fine.

    Provide good value at no cost, and it will rank high itself. Rather than rambling about your business, solve some of the gardening problems for free and your viewers will appreciate it. Create guides, round ups and become an expert on the subject. You don't have to reinvent the wheel, just present it in an eye catching and easy way. Make it better than similar but successful videos on YouTube. One short video isn't enough to boost your rankings unless it goes viral. Sorry to be brutal, but the video you shared is a bit mediocre.

    When it comes to ranking your video on googles 1st page, it is simply a formula. Get it right and you win, get it wrong and you get no views. pretty simple formula. Title, description, tags, name it the right formula and your formula equals views, equals leads, equals results.

      The first step? Create a video that's good enough. Youtube tracks popularity, engagement and viewer retention. If the video is crap there's no "formula" that would produce good results.

    Given that the title and description are properly optimized.
    Do you think your video is enticing enough for people to spend their time watching it?
    To be honest it is nothing but a bunch of images in a slideshow which is nothing new in our eyes.
    If you want google to rank your video then think of your target audience first.
    If your audience liked your video then Google will like it as well.

    Video Title, Description, Tags are important factors for optimization. You also need to create a great video presentation on what topic you want to cover, if you created that kind of video, then do the marketing strategies like social sharing, embedding and creating backlinks. You need to create a video that would trigger re-sharing.
