I posted a job on Fiverr to have 5 of 15 chosen keywords to be ranked in the 1st page of Google.

I offered $1000 a month with no time limit as my site is brand new and very low in the SERPS so I am well aware it will take a long time to rank.

Much to my surprise I received many offers with claims that all 15 (very competitive) keywords can be ranked to 1st page within 90 days without any blackhat methods.

Yeah I know - I was quick to dismiss it too but some of these guys have well over 7000 positive reviews.

Is it worth giving it a shot?

  • Please don't use fiverr for SEO. I am telling you now you are going to waste that money and no good will come from that. Ask anyone who does SEO themselves and they will tell you the same thing i am (stay away from fiverr for SEO related tasks)

Ok there is a chance that someone from fiverr could do good work. But the odds are very LOW. But hey it's your money, spend it how you want

    Thanks

Accept it, and ask to see prior results with full reporting to show that they were actually responsible for the rankings.

If it looks legit, test it on a smaller site. You may just be entering into someone's sales funnel, and the $5 is what you're going to pay for a consultation.

In my experience, you can buy single PBN links, Wordpress setup, keyword/competitor research, logos, and accounts from Fiverr, but definitely not SEO.

We don't recommend using Fiverr for off-page optimization and link building.

If ranking 15 competitive keywords cost only 1k, then why don't they rank their own websites instead of offering services on Fiverr for $5?

On top of that, Fiverr sellers buy a lot of reviews. You can't really trust the rating system up there. Keep in mind as well that many buyers get forced to put a positive review to recieve some extra bonuses that the seller is placing around. In few words, even if they were not satisfied, it would be more logical to give a positive review and get the bonuses than giving a negative review and get nothing in return.

We wish you all the best with your marketing journey!

Please don`t use fiverr for SEO projects, or for any kind of serious project for that matter.
I didn`t know a single person that had a big project and was satisfied with fiverr.
If you search the forum I bet you can find people who paid good money for stupid spam. Yes, that spam got them on the first page in 1-2 months but once Google found out, the websites plummeted in SERPs. (I`m tired of SEO gurus doing "blog commenting" and "web 2.0 submissions")
Your best bet would be to contact one of the older users here (aim for bigger post count) and ask for their opinion on where to find a good SEO company.
Or another option would be to search for someone on Freelancer.com (it is a more OK website). Sure, it has its number of idiots but the users with a big number of reviews are good. (you can easily separate the good from the bad).
After you have found the company/person you are looking for ask for some proof of work and contact the website owner and ask if they were satisfied by the work the freelancer has done.
Be careful with who you choose because you can end up without your money and a worse position in SERPs than you have now

What do you think they can offer you for just 4 bucks? Yes, not even 5 as Fiverr will take one dollar.. Do you think they can build so many backlinks (even a few Tier's, so you could rank your website for so many keywords)? And also, don't forget that in order to do this in less than 90 days, be sure that they will MAYBE use a blackhat method.. Do you think that they can work simultaneously on 50 websites? (if they have 50 orders in the QUEUE)?

The decision is yours! No matter what you choose, Good luck with your project!

I sell on fiver and also have in the past used five to rank my website Not one sale from anyone I will not use fiverr to rank my sites. Simple because they do not work If you want to spend $1000 use direct traffic far better value for money.

I rarely tell this story but here goes. I made my first money online using fiverr SEO only. I spent $15 one time and made $300 to $500 per month.

Fiverr can work for seo when you keyword research, product and all other aspects of your business are set up correctly.

Having said that, the seo ia only going to have a short term effect so you have to immediately capitalise by building an email list, creating better content for your site and building high value links with any early profit you make. Even then, your fiverr links could still only deliver a small result.

If you spend $1000 on fiverr seo, you might as well just sign up for quicksprout seo service by Neil Patel. It's only $200 per month to start and they help you with ongoing seo strategy.

    Hope that helps.

If you spend $1k on Fiverr SEO you're either one dense maternal fornicator, or a successful link spammer. In this case even something like Neil Patel would be a step up.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

      What's your excuse?

I would think the link building gigs you buy on Fiverr are of low quality and really won't do much for your rankings, but I could be wrong.

It can be risky if you don´t know the seller. I´ve seen good things but also I´ve seen ruined sites just for using cheap seo from fiverr.

I couldn't resist to not to comment on this thread..

There are SEO Gig sellers on Fiverr that use stupid methods to create backlinks but there are some Great Gems there as well.

    My advice is:

    1. Do NOT buy gigs that offer 900 links or 60 edu links or similar.. These gigs will most probably harm your websites.

    2. Buy Gigs like:
    - Guest posting on blogs
    - Social Bookmarking your link 20 - 30 submission. Something more will be from spammy software's.
    - Profile Links done manually (30 - 50)
    and other stuff like this..

That's it.. I' ve been using this kind of services with great success on my rankings.

Of course there are more factors that will rank your keyword like competition, on-page SEO, article relativeness and more..
