Question about checking backlink toward to website and page rank

hi,

I have some questions in SEO process, hope you can help me clear:
1. How to know backlink is nofollow or dofollow?
2. nofollow and dofollow, which is better for page rank?
3. could you tell me some tool (free and not free) to check backlinks toward to website.

    Use ahrefs to look at your backlink profile and see what links are dofollow or no follow.

    Don't be too concernd about page rank - it hasn't been updated for a long time.

    Dofollow links are better for rankings as they pass on the juice from linked site. Dofollow links can still be helpful in making your link profile look natural and still add trust to your site even if they don't directly help to rank it.

        Pagerank was updated in late 2013. You can't increase it for new sites, and the number you see for any site is out of date. The companies that run backlink checkers usually offer some sort of metric, and those are way more useful than PR. The most well-known are Ahrefs, Majestic and Moz.

        How to see if link is nofollow? Well, just view the page source. The nofollow links have the attribute rel="nofollow".

        Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
