How to Get High Ranks on Bing?

Hello Guys

It´s me again.

I´d like to use your wisdom in SEO, and i´d like to know if someone knows how to get hig rankings on Bing?

I´ve heard this search engine is a great option and a great competition against google.


I´ll appreciate your help and advices.

    Bing really really likes keywords in domain names and urls but it also looks at popularity so if you want to trump your bing competition you need:

    Keywords in your domain name
    Relevant backlinks to your domain

    If you're doing a subpage the the same applies but for the subpage.

    Careful if you plan on using bing webmaster tools, bing is known to sometimes drop a page that adds bing webmaster center for no reason.

    Just try to do normal seo to your sites if you ranked welll in search engines such as google,yahoo i think you should also have no problems in bing too.

    I think, the same ways of getting backlinks will work a lot.

    When msn was there before the bing, I was listed there on top # 10 with about 50 bookmarks from high pr domains, on that time that site was just 2-3 weeks of age. So, I am sure they would have follow the foot of msn in bing tooo....

    It's bee my experience that Bing, like MSN, favors older domains.. So i've just been on the second page of Bing when i am in first to third position on google..

    I agree with zukario.
    Just do your basics right and you should be fine.

    Bing also favors conventional seo techniques like meta tags and keywords in title.
    Also note that it would be beneficial if your site is XHTML or validated HTML : Search engine optimization bing Seo Bing
