Wordpress Posts vs Page

Looking for some advice:

I have a stock related blog where I update the stock performance of a given sector each day. I have been housing this info (stock tickers, company name, daily change/performance in a table) under a Page for years. Considering this page updates daily and conventional thinking is that pages should be primarily static, I wonder if there is a better way to handle this. Generating a new post daily with the same information, however, doesn't seem like a viable option as it will result in a ton of new posts being generated, with every post older than 24 hours, being pretty useless as time progresses.

Is there a better solution from a logistic or SEO point of view? Or should I just keep updating the page daily?

Thanks in advance!

Maybe make some of the above the fold content static & change the rest of the data lower down the page as needed. I would at least keep the page title & heading tags static.

It's true static pages hold rank better while dynamic pages tend to bounce around the SERPs.
