Hello Guys,

I have created a entertainment website and i have one question about my site. I have good profiles in tv.com (forum), Imdb (forum boards), rottentomatoes (forum boards), voat.co subvoat , reddit.com subreddit (subreddit of 30 page authority), stackexchange.com and forum.blu-ray. If i will submit links in these sites, will this help my site to rank in google first page or not??

Or what i need to rank well in google and how to get backlinks from my own site too. I saw that big sites like stackexchange.com has got more than 20-30 links form own sites.

Hope you guys will answer all my questions.

Waiting for positive reply.

With Regards,

    Hello madlee,

Submitting links to all of the sites you had mentioned will indeed boost your Google search ranking results!

The key to boosting your search ranking results is relatively simple:

    1) Get your link posted on as many other sites related to your niche as possible.
    2) If possible, make the anchor text of those links pointing to your site say the exact keyword phrase you are trying to rank for. For example, if you're trying to rank at the top of Google when people search "entertainment news", then try to make the links from other sites pointing to yours say "entertainment news". Some sites will not allow you to do this, so only do it when you can.

In Google's eyes, doing the above essentially says "Your website gets a vote for having a link on a related site pointing to yours. It gets another vote for the keyword phrase "entertainment news" and it gets another several votes based on the authority of that page linking to you."

The more votes you get from related authority sites, the quicker you will move to the top of Google's search results!

Complete nonsense if you are talking SEO.

I imagine any click through visits will
be few and far between, and worth
      next to nothing.

Internal linking and linking up ones sites
is exactly what the big boys are doing.

      Go get some real backlinks.

I agree with paulgl about getting some real backlinks, but still every link that meets the criteria I had listed will help increase your Google search rankings. Although you will likely not get any traffic directly from those links, Google still sees them and will move your site higher if the link is on a site with a related topic, has the anchor text in the link and especially if it's on an authority site, such as .edu, .gov sites.

I have ranked many websites to the #1 spot position for very challenging keywords using the method above.
