Is it safe to use Adsense in forums? Or do Google consider the huge amount of page views vs low CTR as spammy/dodgy?

Would i be better off investigating other monetization plans for the forum?

  • should not be a problem.. just look at DP forums on how they monetize their adsense ads..
  • Just make sure that you take the time to properly moderate any questionable content from your forum.

    I think that you will be ok.
  • yeah - I ran into a problem with a user who was 'in a bad mood' that posted some hate material. I didn't catch it because they edited posts from long time ago. Adsense didn't appear on the site...ever! Funny tho, it worked on my other sites.
