i want to buy a domain but i am wondering about .com or .net.
which one can i choice for my site to good for seo ? which one is better ?

    Hi mathompson. I would advise you to go for .com instead of .net. The domain authority of .com is much higher and .com is the main priority worldwide. It also depends on the type of website you are creating and where you are targeting. Specif country or worldwide.

    For seo I don't think it matters that much. For getting people to remember your site's address however, it's better to have a .com . So if the choice is between two versions of the same domain one is a .com and one is a .net, I would say get the .com. But if you cannot get a .com with your target keywords but are able to secure a .net with your target keywords, get the .net.

    For general target location and for recommended extension name its .com but its still depends on how you will establish the domain in time.

    Get both if you can. The dot com will be your primary address because people will usually try the dot com before they try the dot net.

    If you plan to use SEO as your main or one of your main marketing strategies, it won’t matter which domain name extension you choose. Both the .com and the .net will perform very well.
    But I think for businesses the .com provides many offline advertising benefits.

    If you can get the .com why would you want a dot net?

    The .com is always the winner in the majority of cases because almost everyone i.e. Joe Surfer, is familiar with it.

    For SEO purposes com/net makes no difference.

    It depends on your targeting location if you are target local area then .net or country specify domain name is good for you. If you want to target world wide. then go with .com domain name.
