Date in google search

Hi Warriors;
3 months ago, I started a blogspot blog, when I searched for my blog in google it's show that date in description Mar, 23, 2011. the blog is new as I said , 3 month ago.
what the problems seem to be??
What I should do to remove that date?
Any help would much appreciated

  • There are several things you can do to update the date.
    • Update the post, page or article that is showing the date. By update I mean edit it: add or remove a sufficient amount of information from it.
    • Is the date Google is showing the date the article was published and the date the article is showing on the site? Change the date of the post itself if this is the case. You can do this from the same place you edit the post. Edit post and change the date. You can also change the date for the post manually in the database via phpmyamin. I do not suggest this unless you know what you are doing.
    • Once you have sufficiently edited the page manually have Google reindex it by submitting the URL through your Google webmaster tools. the link is here: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url?continue=/

    Blogspot structures their URLs with the date the page was originally published so I doubt you're getting rid of those dates shown in the SERP descriptions.
