301 Redirect from http to https in Magento Platform

I was redirected URL from http to https but old url - http://www.example.com/women-wear.html/ as indexed, cached and some back-links also there.

The problem is

If I click on the url http://www.example.com/women-wear.html/ it goes to https://www.example.com instead of https://www.example.com/women-wear.html/

Let me know if anyone good on magneto platform and Is it a serious problem in point of search engine view?

You could try an .htaccess redirect :-)

1) It is definitely a problem.

2) It is not a Magento problem. The redirect was done wrong. You need to edit the .htaccess file and fix it.

  Now, The redirect is from http://www.example.com/pure-silk-sarees.html ---->301 Moved Permanently---> to---> https://www.example.com/pure-silk-sarees.html--->301 Moved Permanently--->to---> /pure-silk-sarees.html/ Please let me suggest and right or wrong?
