I am willing to start a forum for our niche. I don't know how to do SEO for a forum. Everybody is keep saying that ranking forum urls are very hard than ranking blog urls. So, I need to know how to get fast traffic from the search engines.

And also one more query. Forum sites gets updated constantly so search engine bots crawls to them several times a day. If my site gets crawled more frequently then it will get traffic more traffic? Does the amount of crawling has to do anything to the amount of traffic??

For increasing the page rank we need the high page rank forum sites.There are many number of sites are available for increasing the page rank.Forum sites have the important role for that.

I think you need to start thinking more along the lines of how to promote the forum, so it becomes active and you start getting all that lovely user generated content.
