Just thought I'd get a discussion going on this.

Adsense isn't dead. Adsense arbitrage is dead. But I never did arbitrage so it doesn't affect me.

From the amount of Warriors interested in getting keyword lists with high CPC values, my guess is no. A very big no.

You just have to know which niches to target, and how to effectively get people to your sites/blogs.

it is very hard to get back your account once its disable by google. but you can try to reinstate your account using this appeal form

      https://www.google.com/adsense/suppo...ct=appeal_form

if still can't (most of the time), you can try apply a new account..this is what i always do:-

      1) register new gmail
      2) create new blog at blogger.com
      3) post some article in the blog.
      4) register adsense with your new blog. during registration, you can use your name but make sure use a different address from the previous account that allready been disabled by google.

    Hey Remodeler,

I personally don't think it is a pointless thread. The WF is about discussion. If you have something on your mind, why not discuss it and get views/ opinions from fellow Warriors?

Some well known Warriors say it is dead, but then others don't. It's interesting to see what the general concensus on this issue is. And from what I gather people still have faith in it. So thanks all for getting involved and sharing your views.

You obviously saw a need or a point to post, to what you refer to as a pointless thread. I wonder what the point was.

Maybe someone just wanted to see if opinions had changed. I don't understand why you chose to open up the thread and read it, and also to post in it, if the thread was so pointless. The forum is here for the use of all of us, to find out the questions we have on our mind and to contribute that which we feel we want to contribute. I am just sorry that you found it necessary to belittle someone's thread.

My point is not to belittle anyone's thread and I'm sorry you feel that way. You are exactly right about the forum being here for all of us to use. It has a lot of great features and functions as well. The point is that the search function works great and it is amazing at what you can find with it. There are always new people thinking about making money online. My son for example a generation where the computer was in the home and classroom from kinder and up, yet he does not completely understand how to make money online, but when he sees my checks from google he freaks out. He is trained in school on how to use a computer but none of those computer teachers now how to do IM. That's why this question keeps coming up. It's a good thing and there is plenty of room for competition. Truth is the ones that hide things or don't want to talk about how they do it think someones gonna take away from their money pot...Google. There is plenty to go around...it's like the blogosphere mentality...hell no...you can't comment on my PR 5 blog...dumb as dirt.

It's simple, create a site, use the keywords in the name, give it some age or buy a pre-owned for the niche you want to target, target a niche with high traffic, find a long tail for that niche, do some SEO, meaning build links for that long tail to your site, create some blogs to backlink to it, do some rss submissions, bookmarks, scuttles, pliggs, scuttle plus's, write an article and submit that for links. Have your site ready with your adsense cause when the traffic starts coming you will get clicks and be happy cause that change will add up. And then realize your ROI and tell yourself can you repeat that again. When you start building your site to a buck a day ask yourself why you don't have a hundred websites. No reason really, except lazyness. 100 websites at a buck a day times 30 days = $3000 a month. Then ask yourself why you don't have 1000. I'll let you do the math.

I'm not even getting into affiliate marketing here, but when you can convert just one or two sales a day you could double the earnings above. Think about it.

I see that type of comment often in my travels around this forum. And I have used the search and advanced search function to find information numerous times. It is usually a waste of time. It brings up so much usless information on things that have nothing to do with what I put in the search box, it is hardly worth using. Maybe I am just stupid and can't figure out how to use it, but I have tried using quote marks to get a more exact search, but nothing has helped. So I just don't rely on it a hell of a lot.

No it is not dead. You can make money from adsense if you publish informative material on your site and follow proper SEO techniques and provide useful content. Plain and simple.

For what it's worth I still make some money with AdSense, what you make with them is like the smallest amount possible considering the traffic...but at least its something!

I wouldnt go developing new content sites if AdSense was your big money earner, it should be a temporary thing, or to supplement other ways to monetize. I'm making $50 a month on a site I should be making a lot more from, so I need to just build a list from that site's traffic too, and try and promote some affiliate products to the list. If I set that up I would probably double or triple my earnings from that blog.

It's not dead, but its not a good earner for most people either. If you have pages on mesothelioma that organically rank high I guess your Adsense would make you a killin, but for my niches the small share of the ad clicks they give you is tiny.

Adsense is certainly not dead, but these days it's not always the best solution. It now has realistic competitors and there are alternative ways to make good use of the traffic.

Wow thanks for the reply guys.

I'm not trying to stir anything or cause arguments, i'm just looking for a point of view. I do agree about the search function, it can be difficult to use sometimes.

So I'm glad to hear that adsense isn't dead. But what other advertising programs are there that are worth the time and effort. I know there is CPA but don't want to really go down that route for some of my sites. Has anyone used adsense alternatives personally (such as chitika or bidvertiser) and found high paying keywords?
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[1120780].message }}

I'll chime in too with my two cents.

There are countless sites trying to sell their products and services. That means they need to advertise if they expect people to know they exist. One way to advertise is PPC and tens of thousands of sites use it, including Adwords.

There are as many countless sites with owners wishing to make a buck and monetize their site(s). Displaying advertising from those tens of thousands which use PPC is one way to do this.

As long as there are PPC advertisers and people who want to make money by providing the medium to do so, Adsense and others like it will not die.

For starters, I think this question (and questions like it) are really not
an attempt to find out if a particular program is running, but rather it
reflects the original poster's insecurity on whether they can make
      money with it or not.

Second, nothing is "dead" until you have decided that it doesn't work
      for you.

Third, everything will work to make money if you put your heart and
      soul into it.

Not dead, but banner blindness means you get a lot less clicks than back in the day. ALSO, Google is now against you putting pictures near links. The economic recession is also hurting what people will pay for clicks.

Adsense is not dead and is far from dying. Here's what I've seen from a high percentage of people who don't make money with Adsense; they take one of these two paths. (1) They buy cookie cutter pre-built Adsense sites with low grade content expecting to make a killing. Not realizing that exact same package was sold to 3000 other people who sold it to 9000 other people who sold it... you get the picture. Or, they take path (2). They stumble upon the list of top Adsense keywords and they start salivating over the fact they can make anywhere from $3.00 to $8.00 per click or more. As you all know, these lists are all over the Internet:

Without thinking or evaluating, tons of people go and build Adsense websites around these high paying keywords, all using essentially the same strategy. They pull content from EZA, GOA and other article directories or they buy PLR packages and then it happens??? NOTHING!!!! They pray to the Google gods for clicks but they get NADA! Why would they expect to? They are competing against over saturated niches with inferior content! When it comes to the competitive niches and Adsense, you have to bring your "A" game. Anyone who follows the 2 primary paths of the masses is going to be disappointed with Adsense and think that it is dead.

Thanks for this Adsense thread as I'm researching an aspect of Adsense.

I like to read the most recent present thread about something and go backwards from there if I can. Even though there are plenty same thread titles in recent past, I usually don't access them unless I'm looking for something really specific.

As mentioned - the Search function can be temperamental. And why put myself at risk by getting outdated info from past same thread titles? Besides, this forum will get awfully boring with endless posts in only a handful of thread titles.

Same thread titles - different replies from different people at different times equal information however you look at it. Whether it is useful or viable to you or not is your call. It's a forum - things get repeated sometimes and yet it is all so new especially to newcomers like me. )

Much thanks to MrEyeconic and all those who reply - yes even Remodeler - for adding to this Adsense thread and conversation.
