Does increase in traffic increase your ranking?

Neil Patel , brian dean basically use techniques which increases your traffic like email marketing , Social media . Brian Dean hardly care about On Page seo and technical part of website (My personal opinion). Does these techniques increase their clients ranking or affect their business for long term?

    No, traffic is not a ranking factor. However, if that traffic (ie. visitors) likes your content they may give you a backlink.

    No, traffic is not a ranking factor. However, if that traffic (ie. visitors) likes your content they may give you a backlink.

    There is no guarantee that increase in traffic will help in ranking, sometimes increase in traffic can cause drop in ranking because of bounce rate and time on site.
