Am I missing something....

A few months ago I decided to bite the bullet, and outlay a bit of money on professionally written articles. The result, is lagunabeachstays.com

I'm using Wordpress (including Platinum SEO pack), I've got good content which is updating at least every 48 hours based on keyword research, I'm spreading the word on a few social networks, and I've even managed to scrounge up a couple of backlinks by contacting complimentary sites personally, via email.

But still, Google Analytics tells me every day, that on average I get 15 visitors in 24 hours.

Surely, for the amount of effort I have put in thus far, the traffic should at least be increasing?

What are your thoughts? Am I missing something....some low hanging fruit, that will start to give me a traffic boost or two (or preferably a long-term, gently sloping trend in the upwards direction!)?

    What key words are you targeting? Do they get searches?

    For instance, "Laguna Beach Stays" do not show any searches at all using Google external tool.

    No searches, no traffic.

    • I'm targeting 'Laguna Beach hotels'... and not just that keyword specifically, but also each of the individual hotels within the Laguna Beach area. On top of that, I'm also targetting other Laguna beach vacation related words (such as 'attractions', 'things to do', 'cafes', restaurants, parks, picnics, galleries, day spas etc).

      I found these keywords using the Google keywords tool, so the problem isn't that the keywords aren't right....they're just not ranking in the search engines!
