Google Analytics Basic Question

Sorry about the basic question.
I have a site and Google analytics is telling me the unique visitors are 4,464
for last week.
I want to split this number up and see the unique visitors to product pages (start with /product/) and the unique visitors to blog pages (starts with /blog/).
Where is the best way to see this result?

I tried content > all pages but it shows me unique pages not unique visitors.
I also tried looking at landing pages but new users number is different from unique users and I do not see what I need.

Any help appreciated.

  • Are you trying to figure out how many people LANDED on that page, or how many unique people got there, whether that be from another link on the website or from the lander?

  • You might test different analytics.

For a quick overview and easy to figure out navigation try: http://clicky.com/
  • If you want to see unique visitors, then you would need to use custom segments. Create new advanced segments and under conditions set one to page starts with /product/ and the other to page starts with /blog/.

That will let you see individual stats for people who viewed one or the other, but keep in mind there will be some overlap for those who viewed both.
  • Thank you all. Trying these options now.

  • Unique visitors and unique pages views are 2 different things.... I did a lot of research and found this feature in Gostats where unique and repeat visitors are presented separately on the dashboard.. give it a try .. it should help you with unique visitors count.
