SEO of New Domain

Hi,

I have purchased a new domain and created a WordPress blog on it. I am using keywords with almost 0 competition so when ever I publish new post it get ranked in few days. But I am getting ranked on second page of google don't know how to get to first position ?

I did some research and found that new domains are bit difficult to rank first, can any please suggest me what should I do to overcome this age problem of domain ? My domain is just 3 months old and I don't want to change the domain, just want to improve the rank of this domain.

    Not really. A new site should not rank unless it's an instant hit and receives a lot of good backlinks. Not ranking is the normal state of things.

    And there's your answer: try to get solid backlinks.

    Search engines do not rank domain names, they rank individual web pages. Never forget that.

    As for ranking web pages in new domains, what you read can be proven wrong fairly easily, so no, what you read is incorrect.
