I'm intending to launch a new version of my website next week and make all the pages https:// I intend to rebrand the website and use 301 redirects from my old domain name to the new domain name. I am getting confused with the conflicting information on the web.

Can someone please tell me the correct process I need to do in Google Webmaster Tools? I'm not sure if I'm meant to open a new Google Webmaster Tools account for the new domain name or add the new domain name to the same account?

I have read elsewhere that you are meant to add both versions of the website to the Google Search Console http://www.domain.com & http://domain.com? At the moment I only have www.domain.com listed in Google Search Console since http://domain.com version would automatically redirect you to www.domain.com

Do I need to add both versions of the new rebranded secured website https://domain.com & https://www.domain.com since https://domain.com would redirect you automatically to https://www.domain.com? Would that mean Google will index the same website twice, meaning the https://domain.com & https://www.domain.com?

Thanks for reading my post, your help / feedback is always appreciated.
