Adsense Success Story in Argentina.

I'd like to share my friends success story which I thought would be an inspiration to us all.

My friend Casin from Argentina is a programmer by nature(never took one course on programming) and a few years ago he decided to build a text messaging program so that he can text his friends from his PC without having to pay a text cost. Let me explaing a bit, Argentina is a country where cellular service is still pretty expensive and it costs quite a bit to text someone and to call, even more.

After finishing the program and getting it to work properly, he distributed it throughout his group of friends. In just about a year, it exploded, the program was being used all over Argentina and beyond.

He wanted to figure out a way to monetize his efforts a bit and cover his maintenance costs(hosting, domain, and monthly maintenance to update text messaging servers from each carrier because they get updated constantly). He discovered Adsense and it turned out to be much more than he could've hoped.

Currently he has over 100,000 daily users of his software in Argentina, Brazil, Spain, France, and the US.

The only marketing he has ever done is add his website on the signature of each text message that goes out with from his program. No PPC.
Today, his Adsense earnings average about $2,000 per month. For him, because of the exchange ratio with the Argentine Peso, it is the equivalent of making about $6500 per month. This helps him put his way through college and help out his parents from time to time.
