Adsense Niches: How long did it take you?

Newbie here. I just started targeting niches for adsense, 2 sites up currently. I was wondering how long it took for other beginners to start making money, any money, even pennies a day.

I am in no rush as I am just "testing the waters" so to speak but I'm wondering if I should crank out more articles or just be patient. It's been about a month thus far with 20 articles up for each site.

Thank you!

Based on the information given you should see money soon. My first site took 2 weeks to make its first 25cents.

There is no exact time frame. The more popular your website the more people will access it and more will click on Google Ads placed on your website.

The tennis machine site is showing public service ads. You may need to do some targeting so G has a better idea what your content is about.

Depends what you do. How good are you at SEO? How much effort did you put in? Did you pay for your traffic? Naturally I would say a few days, considering that you do everything correctly. With paid traffic, or existing traffic streams, instantly. If you are new to SEO and target wrong keywords then you might never see a click.

While you were reading my signature your competitor was entering yet another niche.

Could take one day, could take 2 years

Seriously though, I've seen my own sites get indexed and earn clicks
from day 1 - others take a week or more.

And yet I've met countless others (more than I'd like to hear about)
try online for years and only make a few dollars.

Took me 15 minutes to research my niche. 30 Minutes to set up my website. 1 hour to write 5 Quality articles and another hour to add backlinks. Within that week I made £20 on Auto-Pilot

That's pretty awesome that you just jump in like that. I think that's what XFactor was trying to lay out with his epic Adsense thread; do your research, build, build, test, build some more, test, keep building and testing. I have to get into that mindset instead of over analyzing my keywords.
      Keep up the good work!

I hope you're being facetious because that is so very possible.

I figured I'd take a shot at creating my own niche site after spending so much time writing the content for other people's sites for so long. I asked some of my clients about the basics of what they do and I tried to mimic their tactics.

My first niche site took me a week to create around my existing work load. It took another week for it to be generating at least a little bit of Adsense income on a daily basis.

For me it took 2-3 monthly passively working the sit4es adding articles and getting links. It's all related to the amount of time spent "working" the site.

My first site made 83 cents after about the 2nd week. At the time I was 160 or so for my keywords in Google, but there were some really rare keywords that I was number 5 in and those were drawing traffic.

It depends on a whole lot of factors. Some niches will
take long, some longer, and some not long at all. Apart
from the niches themselves, it also depends on the
strength or not of your campaigns, re proper keyword
research, proper use of the best low competing but
high search keywords in your articles, etc.

If you choose carefully researched low competition "buying" keywords like I do for my sites, nice profits are almost guaranteed.

call me lazy, I get in to the niche research and then instead of adding adsense, I just paste EPN/Amazon stuff which is much better ROI than the clicks payment.
