Help a new warrior with Adsense!!

OKay, so I downloaded google adwords editor and used it to make my first campaign. I have already selected all of my keywords, added my text, and set my maximum bid. I think ( I might be wrong) that you have to upload the information from adwords editor to your google adsense account to make the campaign go live? I have tried a bunch of times to do this, but can't seem to make it happen. What do I have to do to get my capaign to go live. Also how do I set my maximum daily budget? Thanks in advance for all of your help!!!!

    First, you're post title says "Adsense", but what you're asking about is "Adwords" - two different progams.

    Yes, if you use Adwords Editor, you must upload your info from AE to your Adwords account. AE is a terrific application, but it isn't all that intuitive if you're new to Adwords.

    My suggestion would be to create your campaign directly in Adwords. Less chance of missing something or making a mistake.

    Familiarize yourself with the Adwords program via Adwords 'live' interface.

    There's not enough info in your post, but my hunch is you haven't set your max bids in AE. You have to do this both for your keywords, and your adgroups.

  • Thanks for the info, I think I will just redo the campaign directly in adwords. I didn't know about the live interface, but it is excellent. Many thanks!

    It talks about account structure and gives you a good overview. Matter of fact if you plan on hitting AdWords/PPC hard then you should go through the entire learning center.. you'll learn a lot.
