hello,
I have a website REAL FINANCIAL ASTROLOGY Practiced by Ancients (W.D. Gann Trading), and the keyword is financial astrology, it seems that everytime i join a seo package, everytime my ranking got lower. I was used to rank page 2 in google back in 2 years when i buy those backlinks pacakge. but not dropped to page 8 already...what happen to my website ? anyone knows?

this is one of the so called SEO package i joined which doesnt give me any improvement in ranking at all.

did i have to many low quality backlink that affects my website?

    do you try to check your site or your backlinks with some tools?
    i think you should do that because may be your link package is not good

      do you mean optimize the word "astrology"? the word is too common, and need extra effort to optimize it

        No, he's being a smartass.

        So you've got a bunch of low-quality links. That may be a problem if you've saturated your link profile with spam, but those links probably aren't ranking anything if your niche is even a moderately competitive one. I've never heard of this, but I've seen ads for "unicorn healing", and folk in US believe in all sorts of much weirder stuff.

        You know, from my quick googling it seems that this phenomenon has just gotten much more popular over the last couple of years. Sites like Forbes.com are publishing stories about astrologers predicting financial outcomes. What once was an easy niche isn't any more.
