I'm making backlinks to my first site ever. For diversity I will make many profiles with links in them. Shall I use a VPN so that I don't leave footprints for google?

(Also i have a dynamic IP from my ISP - shall i just reset the rooter when I'm finished adding profiles and I m clean?)

Yeah, use VPN for creating different kind of baclinks is a good idea for SEO. This will help you to index your keywords soon on Google.

It's better to reset the router instead of using VPN it will always help.

That would be a stupid reason to use a VPN. Google cannot see what IP you are using to create these accounts.

What you really should be worried about though is the shitty links you are creating and pointing at your site. Profile links are about the lowest quality links you can build.

If you would use static ip for all the backlinks, most probably it would be black listed, try to use different ips using vpns.

I use a VPN while doing pretty much everything. It has nothing to do with Google, but I have no idea if some jerk at my ISP, is spying on my traffic. It's possible since I'm sure my bandwidth utilization is pretty bizarre by comparison. I doubt using a VPN makes it look more natural.

Lol, If you're building backlinks outside of WF, that's just cheating.
