You should build as many good links as you possibly can.

For link building strategies: you should have only necessary information in your site. Use headers, lists and if necessary bullets.

Build a good relationship with people who gets to visit your blog. Example is participating on some surveys.

I don't think there is a hard and fast rule regarding what amount of backlinks is the "magic number" so I wouldn't be overly concerned with building X number per day etc. I've seen sites rank well with very few backlinks yet I've also seen sites rank poorly with tons of backlinks so it really depends on the niche competitiveness and strategy that you have.

You should always try to build solid quality authoritative links but don't forget your social signals either. It's a lot to cover in just one post here but I think you get the gist of what I am saying.

I think you can build as many back links as possible in a day.. but the links must be qualitative.. building 500 back links in a day but all looking very fake will not help you out.. so try to make qualitative back links ..

I have seen lots of reply saying that there is no limit of doing backlink but I am not sure in this one. As per my experience gows I think google will take a close look if I build too many links in one day. It will be better if we follow a diverse and steady link building strategery

I think you can build as much backlinks as you want. More important for you it to pay attention to he quality of your content!
