Same content in multiple page can be considered as duplicate content?

Hi there,

We have ecommerce website having lots of products and categories. SAME PRODUCT can be reside in multiple categories. So, in list page of category may contains same product which reside in different category page.

Question:
Is this considered as duplicate content?
How can we overcome this duplicate content problem?

    In this particular case of yours it won't be considered as duplicate content.

    Yes, this is considered as duplicated content.

    To fix this, you should have all products directly on your root.
    www.example.com/product-a

    Instead of:
    www.example/men/product-a
    www.example/women/product-a

    Another solution would be to use the canonical tag on both pages.
    Or finally, exclude parameters in Google Search Console, if the pages use parameters such as ?=product/men

    yes this will be considered as duplicate.. put the same product in different category but try to get some different content for all the different categories this will help to make your website more real and unique..
