mortgage,finance,insurance,lawyers,credit repair. THink niches with big corporate advertisers and you should find some good niches.

use spyfu to see the current adwords bids and that should give an idea if the niche will pay well.

stick with niches where the minimum bid is not under $4

mortage,credit repair,exercise equipment. You can break big niches down into smaller niches for example mortgages can be broken down into home equity loans,adjustable mortgage etc. So really one niche can be used over and over again. Plus when you article market you can use the two links to point to two of your sites instead of one, if that makes sense

Remember the largest the money in the niche the more competition. You may have a blog or website where you could make $1 or more a click but if no one comes to your website or traffic is low then you are going to be making less than your high traffic website with 10 cents a click.

While mortgage, finance, insurance, lawyers, credit repair etc.,
may be high click earners, it's acedemic if you can't get high
enough in SE rankings to get traffic.

No traffic = No clicks = No income

My 2 cents worth......

Thats why article marketing is such an important piece. I have sites that bring in over $5 from two or three clicks. Thats traffic i can easily get and maintain from nothing but article marketing. Plus with the long tail keywords its not hard to build a site or blog in that niche and get orgnanic traffic.

If you can pull 50 visitors to your site a day in the right mortgage sub niche you can make $8-10 very easily from a 10% CTR.

I've had some very good luck with debt management and credit repair.

After getting used to seeing $1.85 days, I was pleasantly surprised to see a couple of $12 days and I haven't even finished loading the site yet.

I have a credit repair site and i have been having a hard time with it. The pay out is good but it is much more competitive then mortgages. It still makes $3 or so a day, it just requires more work it seems.

I may try debt managment next.

For me, it was Auto insurance. I was getting dozens of $2.-3.00 clicks everyday, until Google disabled my account, saying that my site posed a risk to its adsense advertisers or some lame excuse.

seemed that my blog was getting lots of repeated clicks from the same IPs, or whatever.

Guess I will have set up another account under one of my LLCs or something.

But the money was pretty good for 9 months or so, averaging $2,000-2,500 for the last 3 months

hbsjcd3, how were you getting Car Insurance traffic? By targeting long tail keywords with articles? I'm curious to know how difficult it was to rank decently for Car Insurance long tails. Could you share some of your knowledge there?

You can earn good money with any Niche, all you need is traffic. Anyway, here is a list of high paying keywords, but I am not sure how accurate this list is.
