Do I need to add my Google Analytics tracking code to each page of my site

Recently we redesign our site, added Google analytic tracking code but Real time traffic for inner pages not showing content of that particular page.

    The analytics code has to show in the source code of all pages you want to track.

  • Yes, you need to add the code on every page that you want to track.
  • Yes for all the pages that you want to track or you can add it to header.php or footer.php file once and will show up on all pages that header and footer is called. You can alternatively use other analytics tools like gostats to track the results.
  • If its a wordpress website you can utilitze plugin to add your google analytics code and it is no need to add in each every page. If is the html website you need to add google analytics each and every page.
