What is organic traffic?

I am sorry to ask some silly question, I have seen there are guys talking "organic traffic" what is that? Is that normal traffic we get from Search engines and some other sites like twitter/facebook and etc or something different?

    Organic is traffic from the search engine. Usually they are talking about positioning when they are referring to organic hits.

    Organic traffic refers to the people visiting your site coming directly from the search engine results.

    Sponsored Links/Adsense traffic does not apply to the term.

    Yes organic traffic is traffic that comes directly from search engines, in other words natural traffic.....traffic from twitter or facebook is known as referral traffic.

    Organic Traffic is Natural traffic , from Search engine search result.

    For Example , if you Search in Google for "Organic Traffic"
    You would find some sites or Wiki describing what you are looking for..

    That's Organic traffic for the owner of the site.
