    Sure, you can do that.

Is it correct? Uhm, probably not. Please explain why you think you would want to do that? Do you understand what nofollow does?

If you have a section of your site that you do not want robots to go, the correct way to deal with this would be to block the robots from that section on your site in robots.txt. Nofollowing the links would tell the bots to not value those links, but the pages would still bleed authority to the link.

  • Whats the point in NoFollowing the Link to another page of your website. If you really wanna no follow then do it to the backlinks on your page.

  • As said above, why would you nofollow valid internal links that could build context?
  • Interlinking to Your own articles or other too?

Own articles mean give dofollow attribute, others mean give nofollow attribute.

    Thanks

    • I know what you mean.................NOT!

There's no such thing as dofollow, and I never nofollow to
sites I know, love, and promote. But then, I don't
      involve myself with spam sites.

Nofollow was never meant for any such nonsense.

I can't believe how such misinformation gets tossed around.

Nofollow was created by GOOGLE to combat link spam.

Do you think linking to your site/pages is spam?
Then by all means nofollow them.

Funny reading this thread, folks act like an internal nofollow link is the plague.

Guess what, this Warrior Forum page has nofollow internal links as of this comment.

    Google could care less...

  • If you want to link to your own articles on your website, give it Dofollow link. If you want to link to another website, give it Nofollow.

      Terrible advise.

Do you really care about indexing and ranking login pages, checkout pages, TOS pages, etc...?

Nofollowing every outbound link is silly, it's a case by case situation, not a shotgun approach.
