How to find "problem" terms and not just Keywords?

I have found it more successful to find "problem" keywords as I call them instead of just "keywords". For example, instead of wasting time with high traffic (and low conversion) keywords like "vitamins", "lose weight" or more specifically "Pure Red Grape Juice" I look for the actual problems online consumers are trying to solve like per the above examples, "low energy", "heavy breathing (from overweight), "how to increase energy", "how to improve my immune systeM", etc. But, I have done this manually because no keywword tool I have tried (about 25 of them) really can translate the solution keywords i.e. vitamins to the "problem" keywords, i.e. low energy. Any ideas out there??

And, NO Wordtracker does NOT have this high level capability

  • That is a good strategy, one I don't use as often as I should myself. There are no software tools that I know of that will give you what you want. The best keyword tool in the world is called Brain.
