I found this video.

It talks about keyword searches, and the like, but how to execute it, exactly, for my blog? I don't know, exactly. Don't even know if this technique has a term.

  • I thought it was April 1st!

    But the jokes on everyone.

Yeah it has a term: BS.

      It's just a parasite technique.

Sidenote: so now we know who is buying fiverr gigs for WF.

One of these days I'm going to throw something in my sig, like "former black hat spammer reveals the secret to make money online" and it will link to a lead capture page.

  • Well, I'm here, because I don't know what is, or isn't. What makes you call it thus, good sir?

Lmao, she bought 50 PR10 backlinks and kept calling it SEO.

  • Internet Marketers can use these forums when they are first starting out as a learning tool, but there are also other ways to optimize the forums to promote your website or chosen niche business. Three of these ways are listed below. . . .

    1. Create A Discussion Forum For Your Website.

    2. Populate Your Discussion Forum.

    3. Make Money From Your Discussion Forum.

People aren't stupid (well, some people), most can see right through BS so outsourcing something like forum posting to India is a shot in the foot because it's obvious crap that nobody wants. You've officially blacklisted your own domain.

I've done massive amounts of same niche forum promotion for my sites, the key is to know the subject in detail & give away something useful directly on the niche forum. Preferably own a single thread and turn it into a source of content that you would want on your own site. Get other people involved to grow the thread (legit forum thread bumps).

Trust me, I've done this (niche forum promotion) for well over 10 years. It works and the traffic last for years.

    • Exactly.

You can do forum marketing the right way and get a lot of traffic, but spamming links, using crappy content or even signature links aren't good tactics.

(Yes, I have sig links, but they aren't a source of hardly any traffic.)

Matthew Woodward is someone who used forums the right way, and he built a huge blog that started with tutorial threads (on Traffic Planet and Blackhat World) that link to his site and eventually got stickied.

This is the kind of stuff that actually works:

How to Get 5,000+ Visitors /mo with a Forum Traffic Funnel | Inbound Wisdom

By posting really high quality threads, using posts to build traffic to those threads, and creating content in such a way that it makes sense to link out to your own site in those threads, you end up with a lot of traffic.

And you don't piss off the moderators in the process.

It works really well for a lot of different niches.
  • If you provide something of value to the niche, forums members will go to your website.
  • Forum postings could help you promote your blog by giving them an answer/content with added value. The more comments/posts, the more chances forum members/visitors will visit your website. It would also help if your accompany your posts with signature.
