    Hi Devilfish,

    Look at what's ranking in the top 3 for that keyword(s) and make your post about 500 more words than the longest post there, keeping the target keyword at about 1% of the whole article (in other words, 20 times for a 2,000 word post).

    Reach out to the sites that are linking to the top 3 results and tell them you have a more comprehensive, up-to-date post. Ask if they wouldn't mind linking to you instead.

    Add a few more outbound links and links from other posts on your site to the one you're trying to hit the top 10 for.
