lets say I ha,ve 50,000 backlinks with page rank of 0 or have 1,000 backlinks of page rank 4 and above which is better?

I am new to seo and understand the importance of high quality over quantity but was still wondering.

    The rank is better. You just want to have those backlinks on quality sites. Too many on not so good sites can take too much time to rank.

    okay thats good to hear. I don't bother with low page rank sites and the beauty is I spend less time because I focus on less sites but of course they are of higher quality.
