Too many Backlinks in webmaster from one website

I am working on tennis related website. I submitted my website in a Tennis Directory(directory:discuss.tennis) (Do follow link). All popular websites related to tennis are their in this directory. Now webmaster showing 1381 links from this directory. Snapshot : Screenshot by Lightshot

Links are increasing after some days. is this going to impact my website negatively in future ??? Currently my website ranking improved after this link.

if i remove this link how is this going to impact my website?

Please advise me only if you have experienced such issue.

    IF directory website is good so it will not effect to you, but if it is spam so it will heart your ranking. so just follow & check regular.

    Is directory submission the only activity you do for your tennis website? This method will not affect at all in your site's performance and there are lots of medium rather than this.

      This is the first time i submitted my website to directory. I have many editorial links to my website. Now what?

    Usually when that happens the extra links are only created because something like a latest post or comment in a sitewide sidebar. When there's enough newer post or comments then your extra backlinks will be removed and eventually self correct back down to a single backlink.

      Thanks for answer @yukon Yes, I think you are right. Now links are 1445 .. so what is your advise. should i ignore this ? is this going to affect my site in any way??

        Yes, ignore it because in a month or so you'll be back down to the single link you built.

        Google will self correct when they reindex the pages and find all the extra links are missing.

        Don't mess with it, just let the links fade away on their own. It's not a big deal, it happens.

    @Josep: yes this is true that in marketing, directory submission is not the only way to increase the back links. As you are saying that you use the directory submission sites you are getting the do follow link from there, have you check the website PA, DA...it is good to get the back link?

    If there is no PA, DA of the website means, means there is no value of the link. you are getting the many links from same place, this is because your link present on same domain inside the pages thats why it is showing.
    Check the quality of the back link, other wise it can harm your website later.

      This is total junk, and you were right to ignore it.

      As Yukon pointed out, this happens all the time when there is a "latest listings" type widget running on a directory, and it is nothing to worry about. Over time, it will sort itself out.

    You may remove excessive backlinks from one site by using google webmaster disavow tool. many backlink from one site does not impact of your SERP. so negltect those links by disavow tool. And if you are getting many links from one site it will affect your web master backlink caching from other sites. It happened in my site too. https://support.google.com/webmaster.../2648487?hl=en
