HI,

I have a few questions that need clearification.

1. My site is using shared hosting, which is shared with 35 sites. There is one adult industry site harikaporn .net
However, the adult site is dead. I want to know if this still impacts my site in any way. I mean the site is dead but the url might still be in the same shared hosting, which is a bad neighborhood signal. What do you recommend?

2. If a site is linking to a domain that is spammy, and i do not have a way of contacting the site owner to ask to remove my domain. Do you recommend disavowing the link even though the link is nofollow?

Thank you

If a shared host allows porn sites on their servers it's most likely a low quality host. Find a better host because stuff like that doesn't even need to be a factor considering there's plenty of better options in every price range.

You're going to have crappy organic links, it happens. The question you need to ask yourself is, are the majority of your links crappy or is it just a handful of weak links on weak backlink pages that obviously couldn't ever rank a page?
