Hi Warriors,

I'm new to this forum. I have started a niche blog recently just three months back. I'm happy that my blog started performing well. But, To increase visibility in search engine, it need backlinks.
As I said the blog is new.Whatever, few backlinks I earned are from blog commenting.I'm not interested in guest posting, unless its a must. How to earn backlinks to domain authority sites with anchor texts.Any suggestions are most welcome. How to approach other sites for backlinks?

Thanks in advance!

well, there are so many blogs related to your topic, also there are many blogs who accepts blog comment (auto approval), share your link on social pages I think you can get backlink from here.

Do I need to manually find out blogs that accept auto approval, or is there another way? I have placed my blog on social media but it doesn't seem to work.

Lowest quality links on the interwebs. Those links can work but I would never use them for any site/page I wanted to keep long term.

That's because social is social and has nothing to do with SEO.

Social networking is an SEO strategy. If you don't want social networking, try social bookmarking sites - Digg, StumbleUpon and Reddit are the authority sites that can give you traffic.

            Silly nonsense.

Social does not rank money pages on Google SERPs.

I know you said you're not interested in guest posting unless it's a must.

    Well it's a must!

Ok - you don't HAVE to guest post - but it IS one of the best ways to get high quality links to your blog - and as you probably know, these days the quality of the links is all important.

What is putting you off guest posting? Is it because it's a lot of hard work - doing the outreach, writing a great article and then following up until its published?

Well it is - but the good news is that a lot of competing sites are put off too - so if you do it, then you'll stand out compared to your competition.

Good quality guest post links are more difficult to get than blog comments or social shares - but Google values them much more highly.

Don't think that you'll need thousands of guest post links either: A handful of good links from real high quality sites is much more powerful than thousands of easy-to-get blog comment or social sharing links.

    Give them a try!

      Hello Quenton Fyfe,

After reading this, I now feel "guest posting" is necessary for my blog. The only reason which puts me off from guest posting is:
"getting only a one or two links after putting immense hardwork and follow-up"
Correct me if I'm wrong. In my observation, Most top bloggers who accept guest blogging are not accepting external links. What do you say?
I recently heard that infographics can be used for acheiving backlinks. Can you suggest me how to get this done?

This is the blog post, which contains an infographic:[Infographic] How to start a blog that makes money? Simplified!

Yes, you get a lot fewer links with guest posting than some other methods - but each one is worth FAR more, so you don't need very many.

Correct me if I'm wrong. In my observation, Most top bloggers who accept guest blogging are not accepting external links. What do you say?
Probably best not to go after the top bloggers straight away. Just real, good quality blogs will be fine. Lots of blogs still accept external links - some will NoFollow them, but others don't. You'll need to do some research first by searching for "Your Topic" and "Guest Blogger" or "Write for Us" or "Contribute".

I recently heard that infographics can be used for acheiving backlinks. Can you suggest me how to get this done?
It's a similar process to guest posting with articles:

        1. First, come up with a topic that you think will interest blogs in your niche.

        2. Get a high quality infographic created about that topic. Possibly on Fiverr.com - but remember you'll need to find one of the better designers, because the infographic needs to look good so that the bloggers want to publish it.

        3. Reach out to bloggers in your niche, showing them your beautiful new infographic, and offering to let them publish it in exchange for a link back to your website.

You can also promote your infographic on social media and get some more value from it that way.

Good luck with promoting your blog.

Hi Rupmini. Blog guest posting is not only helpful in generating backlinks for your blog but it is also a great way to build connection with other bloggers in your niche.

There are many ways to earn back link, you can use any of them, even you can use multiple ways. You can use the Forum Posting, Article Submission, relevant Blog commenting & So on. You need to use the Do-follow link more & more than the No-follow link. Because the Do-follow link will increase your site traffic & page rank at the same time, while the No-follow link will increase your site traffic only. Thanks for your advance.

You can go to google and enter: wordpress: KEYWORD PHRASE

    or

    comment: KEYWORD PHRASE

    blog: KEYWORD PHRASE

And you start from the very first listing and go down the results and you will find that most of these sites you can leave a comment on thus building your backlinks.

Also a lot of these sites get a lot of traffic so a certain percent of that will view and read the comments thus having a chance to get redirected to your website. Win, Win

Guest posting will not only gain you a valuable backlink but also visibility, which is exactly what you need if your blog is fairly new as you say. I'd say come up with a list of 5-10 authority sites in your industry and approach with a solid content idea, one good link on an authority site is far more valuable that blog comment links etc!

It's not a bad move to try to work with Mass Media.
It will bring to you the best results ever.... if you will be successfull.

    Generally it contains 2 steps:
    1. Write a great story that will be so hot that anyone wonder to publish it.
    2. Deliver your unique story to mass media authors.

P.S. Not a bad move is to compare your service/blog with a TOP company/prodcut in the niche. May be it will be better to even link this with the targeted region.
As example: In Florida launched an Uber-analogue service for transportation

  • To get backlinks, you need to spread the word about your website/blog online. One good way to do this is to do content marketing like what others already suggested. You get quality backlinks with content marketing (guest posts, content submission to free blog sites, etc). The good thing with quality backlinks is you do not have to collect as many backlinks as needed since and as most of us are already aware of- quality backlinks is greater than quantity.
