Choose between 2 keywords or merge them when trying to rank your website?

Hi,
I am new to SEO and I'm now learning as much as I can.

I must build an online store. I found 2 keywords with ~1000+ LMS and fair competition. I don't know which the store should target.

Even though the original ones are different and relevant in my language, I'll give you a close example in English:
1. Leather Bracelets: 880LMS, weak competition
2. Handmade Bracelets: 1000LMS, fair competition

The store is selling handmade leather bracelets; so I could focus on both of them.

I'm thinking to merge them: Handmade Leather Bracelets so I could come up in searches for both of them. Is this a good idea or just an illusion? BTW, "handmade leather bracelets" has ~40LMS.

What would you advise?

Thanks!

It's pretty straight forward to target multiple versions of a keyword on a single webpage.

    • <title>Handmade Leather Bracelets</title>
    • <h2>Red Leather Bracelets</h2>
    • [Some content here...]
    • <h2>Handmade Bracelets</h2>
    • [Some content here...]

The way this works is Google will use the heading tags (ex: <h2>) as a SERP title depending on how your traffic is searching on Google Search.

Example, If I have a heading tag like <h2>Red Leather Bracelets</h2> Google will/can use that as a SERP title for traffic that's searching for red leather bracelet instead of the page title on your money page (<title>Handmade Leather Bracelets</title>).

Hello, Rares Llea. It's a good idea to merge the keywords so you could come up in Google search results for both of them. Also, remember that keyword density for every write up is 1% of the whole article so you have to check on that. Make sure you reach the 1% keyword density. It will help you rank.
