Hi,

i am in travel industry and launching a site for online flights booking.

i wish to submit site of 3500 pages, that covers about 1809 destinations from all UK airports to worldwide destinations.

just wondering, can i submit it with by default content on destinations pages? and then start adding more on page content , blogs and articles etc?

please advise some help

  • Most likely you don't have to submit anything. Developers have the reverse problem, site getting indexed before is finished.

What you can do is create a sitemap and upload that in Webmaster Tools. The reason for this is to increase the chances of your pages to get indexed. If you use the same title, description etc on many pages Google tends to not index all of them.

    • Thank you Hearn

1- i have site map in place
2- i have titles, h1 to h6, keywords, descriptions (default description with replacement of cities names. Countries have its own description with replacement of country name and airlines with their default description replacing airline names.

      what do you think?

      cheers

  • Is that a database site, or how did you create it?

if it got a good link structure you dont have to submit anything,

crawlers are such clever little spiders, you cant keep them away

    • Hi George,

      thanks for writing me

1- yes i have big data base of airfares
2- i am rather considering it to launch it with API integration from another company who has bigger data base than mine. and eventaully as i increase my DB i will bring it back to my DB.

      the major question is

1- destinations are 1809 (they have same default content, only replacing the city name and code, (almost same keywords, same meta description.

once i index my site to google, i can maximum put 30 fresh on page content with blog and aritcles for each city. is it good approach?

      regards

  • You need to Download Google webmaster Verification File and Install it to your website in public.html Folder and Verify your site. then upload XML site map Google Crawl your All pages and Create Dynamic XML Site map so your newly Created Pages are Updated easily on sitemap
