    Hello bro,
you can make sales with a professional website design

A good design makes people comfortable with your website.
it's clear that you're gonna get more clicks from a nice call to action button than a simple link.

Also, you can get more sales in niches where people are not aware of affiliate links; for instance, jewelry niche.

and finally, you'll get more sales when you build trust,
and this latter can be built in the long run.

(I'm taking for granted that you are providing high quality content)

  • If you're not getting any sale, you should be looking at your traffic. Check the number of traffic to your website. If the traffic is too low, then it's expected that you won't get any sales yet. If this is the case, you need to increase first the number of people visiting your website. If you have a good amount of traffic but the conversion is low, then check the quality of your traffic, specifically find out the sites where your traffic is coming from, the keywords that you are ranking for, etc. It i also a good idea to re-evaluate your website content and layout and check where you can improve user's experience.

First, look at the details . . . are you getting lots of traffic but no sales, or are you getting little traffic.

You can usually check your traffic using "Statistics" on your web-hosting cPanel . . . AWstats is usually available. Look there and see how many unique visitors got to your website (you can see what pages they viewed, where they came from, etc.).

If you are not getting many visitors, then SEO is one way to improve that (or you can pay for traffic if you like).

If you are getting lots of visitors, but no sales, then look at the details of the affiliate offer you are promoting, and see if your affiliate-program gives you details of the usual conversion percentage. If the conversion-percentage is 1%, then for every 100 clicks on the affiliate link, you should be making one sale.

Your own conversion percentage will depend on how well targeted your traffic is . . . if they are coming to your website really wanting what you are offering, then you will convert better . . . if visitors get to your website but expect something different from what you are offering, then your conversion will be less.

One "trick" to improve conversions, is instead of offering one affiliate product to your visitors, do a comparison of 3 similar ones, with good reasons why you recommend one of them most.

    Hope that helps

    Chris

Check your trafic, that is the most important! Also, maybe it is all about design, to attract people, feel free to ask someone their opinion, and maybe change some things to improve it and make it more appealing for others!

Tip 1 - Research For A Good Niche:

Even if it is a micro niche it doesn't matter. You should develop yourself as an expert in the field. The people will look for your site when you become authoritative over a niche.

Tip 2 - SEO Friendly Design:

Plan your site as per the SEO guidelines and make it Search Engine friendly. The site should be easy to crawl by the search engine robots. A sitemap addition will ease the things as it is approved by the major search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN.

    Tip 3 - Keyword Research:

Conduct an effective keyword research. Do not go for most searched keyword. As it is involves a strong competition, stay away from such competitive keywords. Always opt for long tail keywords as they have low competition and are more targeted. Keyword research is the most difficult step in the development of site. So you need to be through and effective.
