Should I update only one post again for a new version or i should create a create a separate post?

I have a site every I provide apps and games. Now I am confused what to do with the new versions of these apps and games?
1. Should I mentioned the new version in the already published post and update the post every time for a new version.
OR
2. I need to create a new post for every new post.
which is going to be more beneficial?
example. There are two version facebook v1 and facebook v2 should I published both of them in the same post or separately.
Some people suggest me that different post is going to increase internal competition. Secondly, I cannot write a 500 or 600 words review with every new version.
