"We would like to show you a description here but the site won't allow us."

This is the phrase that appears in Yahoo search engine when I google my site. It is the meta description. Anyone know how I can fix this ?

  • I think you have a robots.txt file that is preventing the search bots from crawling that page.
  • Robots.txt should not give that message. Perhaps.

    But it's probably you don't have a meta description.

    So many variables, I assume it's wordpress rearing its ugly head again.

    Ditch wordpress, learn.

    • Thanks. I would be happy to ditch Wordpress when I gain more knowledge. And also I specifically used a WP plugin to add meta. Guess it doesnt work. Any suggestions on better web builder sites ?
