    Make sure you are doing proper keyword research.

    You could be targeting extremely competitive keywords and that is why you aren't ranking...

    Also, create social media accounts with your website name and post articles from your website to your social media accounts.

    Follow people with similar interests on Twitter and keep posting great content.

    Are you doing good SEO? it is the long term process, so if you just stop doing in a short time, it may affect your traffic asap. Plus, content is king? I think you should spend more time and resource to develop and create expensive content for your site. Traffic to your website may be more organic because of rich content.
