I've had sites online and indexed within hours many times - now that I have a couple of sites that I'm trying to show offline businesses how I can make things happen for them - I get no love.

I put 3 new domains online Saturday, did all my webmaster tricks and 3 days later Google still hasn't indexed them.

Have the rules changed again?

      I too had a site that I had indexed since December '08. I had 215 Pages with 175 or so that were indexed...then all of a sudden poof...my site-map had errors (not really, just google said it did) Now I re-submit my site map and it says I have 1 URL and 0 Indexed....

      You're right, it used to go much faster and work better...but maybe they are working on the system a bit. I'm not really sure.


      I agree that getting links onto popular forums or blog comments will help you get indexed faster.

      Hope this helps, I don't think its you...probably the 100lb gorilla known as google.
